Technion MURPA

Technion MURPA 2011

MURPA has progressed steadily since commencing in 2008 and the 2011 program again offers great research project opportunities abroad, backed by a high quality seminar series. Conditions of Entry to the program are generally similar to previous years.

However, a major change in 2011 is the partnership with Technion University in Haifa Israel and the involvement of Monash Engineering in a new HD seminar series and disciplines related to materials engineering, especially aeronautical engineering. The first seminar in June launched the new collaboration between the Technion and Monash University which is supported by the Victorian Technion Society and Monash. Over coming months we will transmit seminars by experts at the Technion and Monash on a range of topics of mutual interest, with the goal of fostering closer research ties and collaboration.
