Pedro
PEDRO is a new prototype imaging system being developed at the Monash Centre for Synchrotron Science. The project utilizes a mechanical collimator in conjunction with Compton camera in an attempt to overcome the limitations in sensitivity of conventional clinical SPECT systems. This work has led to the construction of the optimized configuration.
The project was funded by the Cooperative Research Centre for Biomedical Imaging Development. Results were published here.
